Boost Your Memory- supplements,food etc

(NaturalNews) Where did I leave my keys? Who am I supposed to call again? What did I mean by that scribbled note, anyway? Everybody experiences these incidents of forgetfulness.

As we get older, these kinds of memory lapses can become routine, and are casually attributed to "advancing years" by many baby boomers, according to Dr. Heidi White, assistant professor of geriatric medicine at Duke University Medical Center.

Age isn`t the only factor in memory loss, however, says White. She notes that among possible causes for cognitive decline are medications (such as sedatives, which can dull the mind), depression (which affects concentration) , and hearing or vision impairment.

Baby boomers and the battle for the mind
Keeping the brain healthy much longer is a goal of many of us, especially people who, as of this writing, were 45 to 63 years old - otherwise called baby boomers. If you consider that a baby boomer turns 50 every 7.5 seconds, by the year 2024 there will be 115 million people over age 50 in the U.S.

Today, approximately 78 million people, about 26 percent of the total U.S. population, were not only born between 1946 and 1964 but are, say demographers and researchers, greatly concerned about loss of memory and the aging of the mind.

True failing memory is different from the forgetfulness of a busy person or the stereotypical absentminded professor. Clinically speaking, failing memory is often accompanied by a person`s declining sense of well-being, and is often described by symptoms such as a lack of mental clarity (brain fog), altered mood (as in depression), decreased mental abilities, worsening sleep patterns, and declining overall energy.

Age of Information Overload
Whence the brain drain? Some researchers believe our brains are overtaxed today. Not many would disagree that we`ve moved beyond the Information Age into the "Age of Information Overload." It`s believed that our cognitive processing, and maybe even our memory storage capacity itself, can become overburdened as we age.

To one extent or another, there`s little doubt that all of us are bombarded by work and personal e-mail, Internet spam and junk mail, faxes, magazines, 24-hour news, digital pages, telemarketer calls, cell phone voice-mail and even the arcane logistics of play-date scheduling for the kids after school!

Cognition is sensitive to a wide variety of nutritional factors, and modern nutritional science is uncovering that we can improve our mental powers effectively, and even powerfully, through a wide array of nutrients and supplements, including antioxidants, herbs, fats and other targeted dietary supplements.

A November 2008 review in the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association pointed to benefits of a variety of bioactive nutritional supplement ingredients (often called nutraceuticals) , some of which we will look at, in slowing age-associated memory impairment. Vinpocetine and acetyl-L-carnitine were especially effective, followed by huperzine A; rhodiola; ginseng and alpha lipoic acid. The least effective compounds were the drugs, Aricept and Nemanda.

The brain train - vitamins to the rescue
Vitamin C. To test whether vitamin C protects against mental decline, called "cognitive impairment" in this study, researchers from Australia`s University of Sydney looked at 117 elderly people in a retirement community over a four-year period --- those who took vitamin C supplements and those who did not. Seniors who took vitamin C supplements experienced a lower incidence of severe cognitive decline. The authors concluded that, "Vitamin C might protect against cognitive impairment."

Vitamin E. Research from Italy and the U.S. has shed new light on vitamin E`s role in brain health. A July 2005 study by Italian researchers from Perugia`s Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics (the InCHIANTI study) included 1,033 participants aged 65 and older. The research group found that people with the lowest blood levels of vitamin E had the highest incidence of senile dementia and "cognitive impairment" compared to those who had the highest vitamin E levels.

Another 2005 study, this out of Chicago`s Rush Institute for Healthy Aging, studied 6158 people 65 years of age or older between 1993 and 2002, including a subset of 1,041 patients who were clinically evaluated. The researchers, led by Martha C. Morris, Sc.D., found that higher intakes of vitamin E were associated with a reduced incidence of Alzheimer`s disease.

Other recent studies have looked at different combinations of vitamins and minerals, with vitamins C and E as a foundation.

ALA anyone?
Alpha lipoic acid is a very powerful brain-friendly antioxidant that has been found to directly restore vitamin C and glutathione to their active forms (after they have been used up) and to indirectly restore vitamin E to its powerful form, as well.

In animals, alpha lipoic acid protects brains cells against beta amyloid plaque, the buildup of which is associated with dementia and Alzheimer`s disease. In fact, animal studies published in 2002 and 2003 showed that treatment with alpha lipoic acid prevented or reversed cognitive impairment similar to dementia in humans.

In 2001, researchers gave nine patients with Alzheimer`s disease 600 mg each day of ALA in addition to Aricept or Exelon for an average of one year. This was the first such study to find that treatment with alpha lipoic acid may be "neuroprotective" against Alzheimer`s disease and related dementias.

In a 2007 follow-up, 43 ALA-supplemented patients were observed for a period of up to 48 months. In patients with mild dementia, the disease progressed extremely slowly; in patients with moderate dementia, dementia progressed twice as slowly.

B is for brain
In the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, researchers looked at 69 people with Alzheimer`s disease, including 33 patients who were taking a multivitamin supplement of folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12.

In the 66 patients who were available for the eight-week follow-up, the high-dose B-vitamin supplement significantly reduced levels of homocysteine, which is important since high levels of homocysteine may be associated with the breakdown of the myelin sheaths that encase nerves and may be partly responsible for the symptoms of Alzheimer`s- like dementia.

Botanical brain boosters
Ginkgo. Since stress in humans is associated with decreased memory and learning function, Polish scientists gave an extract of Ginkgo biloba (EGb 761 or Ginkgold) to rats that had been chronically stressed. According to their study, the supplement improved memory and cognition in all rats, including those that had been stressed.

The last 30 years have yielded a large body of evidence supportive of ginkgo supplementation for brain-boosting, although some studies have studied the wrong groups, have looked for the wrong results or have used too low a dose. According to 2000 review by New York University`s P.L. LeBars, daily dosages of 240 mg a day appeared to demonstrate the most benefit in patients with memory disorders or dementia.

Ginseng. In 2008, a group of South Korean researchers published the results of an open-label study in which patients with Alzheimer`s disease received Panax ginseng extract or a placebo for 12 weeks. In the ginseng-supplemente d group, all main measures cognitive performance began to show improvements and continued for up to 12 weeks. After discontinuing ginseng, the improved scores declined to the levels of the control group. According to the authors, "These results suggest that Panax ginseng is clinically effective in the cognitive performance of [Alzheimer`s disease] patients."

Pomegranate. A 2005 rodent study found that drinking pomegranate juice during pregnancy may lower the risk of hypoxia ischemia-related brain injuries (a condition caused by decreased blood flow and oxygen to the fetal brain) in babies. The authors said their results "demonstrate that maternal dietary supplementation with pomegranate juice is neuroprotective for the neonatal brain."

A more recent study in newborn mice, published in 2007, suggest that special compounds in pomegranate, polyphenols, should be further investigated as a potential treatment to decrease brain injury due to neonatal hypoxia-ischemia.

Vinpocetine. Vinpocetine is a supplement that`s derived from vincamine, an extract of the periwinkle plant (Vinca minor). Widely used and studied in Europe for over 25 years, awareness of this product and the research behind is now starting to come into its own.

A 2001 review (meta-analysis) in the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association by the University of Miami`s Bernd Wollschlaeger, M.D., winnowed down 39 vinpocetine studies involving 1,912 subjects into three studies - from 1986 through 1991 - involving a total of 174 patients treated with vinpocetine and 114 given a placebo.

According to Wollschlaeger, all three studies "suggest a significant [mental] improvement in the cognitive function of patients suffering from dementia or other symptoms of cerebrovascular diseases." Based on several mental-performance tests, the significant improvement in cognitive function, in these three studies, says Wollschlaeger, "suggest[s] a clinical application of vinpocetine in the early phases of mild cognitive impairment" before full-blown "senile dementia" or Alzheimer`s disease start to develop.

"Designer" supplements for brain support
Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC). A 2004 review of 21 double-blind, placebo-controlled studies using acetyl-L-carnitine in the treatment of "mild cognitive impairment" and mild Alzheimer`s disease showed significant improvements versus the placebo or "dummy" pills.

CDP-choline. A relative of phosphatidylserine (PS), cytidine-5-diphosph ocholine, or CDP-choline, has been attracting some recent research interest. In 2005, scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) found, in an animal study, that long-term supplementation with CDP-choline may hold back memory impairment.

Huperzine A. Huperzine A is a purified substance derived from Chinese club moss (Huperzia serrata). A 2005 paper on this supplement speculated that the beneficial effects in Alzheimer`s disease are probably due to several cell- and neuro-protective effects operating at the same time.

Food-based mental mojo?
In a 2004 observational study from the U.K. looking at dietary supplement use, people born in 1936 received mental ability testing in 1947 and later in 2000-2001. At age 64, cognitive function was better in dietary supplement users than in non-users, especially in those people who were also taking marine oil supplements.

Quality of mind = quality of life
Many would argue that quality of mind - a well functioning brain - is truly at the elemental core of quality of life; therefore, ways in which we can improve our mental abilities and functions, and fend off the memory and general cognitive declines associated with aging, should be more than welcome - especially when these ways are holistic, supplement-based, and without the profound unwanted side effects often associated with synthetic pharmaceutical drugs.

Statins Impair Brains

Statin drugs can reduce soaring cholesterol levels, according to countless ads touting these supposed "wonder" drugs, that means they are brimming with health benefits because they lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. The problem is a host of side effects from eye problems and muscle pain to heart arrhythmias and liver disorders have been linked to these widely prescribed medications. Now comes research by an Iowa State University scientist that strongly suggests statins also could be robbing brains of thinking power and memory by doing exactly what they are supposed to do -- reduce cholesterol.

It turns out that statins inhibit not only the liver from making cholesterol but may also block the brain from making cholesterol. That's a serious consequence, according to Yeon-Kyun Shin, a biophysics professor in the department of biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology at Iowa State, because cholesterol is vital for healthy and optimum brain function. "If you deprive cholesterol from the brain, then you directly affect the machinery that triggers the release of neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters affect the data-processing and memory functions. In other words, how smart you are and how well you remember things," said Dr. Shin in a statement to the media.

In a study published in the February issue of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Dr. Shin and colleagues tested the activity of the neurotransmitter- release processes of brain cells without cholesterol present to see how well they functioned. Then cholesterol was placed in the system and the scientists measured the transmitter function again. The result? Cholesterol increased the neurotransmitter function by five times.

"Our study shows there is a direct link between cholesterol and the neurotransmitter release. We know exactly the molecular mechanics of what happens in the cells. Cholesterol changes the shape of the protein to stimulate thinking and memory," Dr. Shin said in the press statement. "If you try to lower the cholesterol by taking medicine that is attacking the machinery of cholesterol synthesis in the liver, that medicine goes to the brain too. And then it reduces the synthesis of cholesterol which is necessary in the brain."

However, just because cutting down on cholesterol in the brain may mess up memory and cognitive skills, it doesn't mean that more cholesterol in the blood will make you more intelligent and able to remember more facts. That's because no matter how much cholesterol is in your diet, the cholesterol in the blood doesn't cross over the blood brain barrier.

In addition, by loading a diet with saturated fat from animal products and junk food, too much low-density lipoprotein (LDL), often called "bad" cholesterol, can build up in cells and cause hardening of arterial walls contributing to strokes and heart disease -- unless you have enough high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or "good" cholesterol, to keep LDL out of cells. Fortunately, there are many proven ways to lower the "bad" artery logging cholesterol without resorting to statin drugs. For example, the Mayo Clinic web site notes garlic, ground flaxseed, barley and artichoke extract may be helpful in keeping cholesterol levels in healthy balance.

Natural headache cures and headache remedies

6/03/09

Headache cures are the most sought after remedies as it is one of the most common ailment people suffer from. Headaches afflict almost everyone at some time or the other. Most headaches are functional, being caused by temporary upsets, and are not related to any organic changes in the brain. They are often natures warning that something is wrong somewhere in the body. The actual pain, however, arises from irritation to nerve endings in the shoulder, neck, and scalp muscles, and also in the smooth muscles encircling the blood vessels which severe these areas. Migraine headaches in an acute condition suffered by some patients and we have listed some useful information for them also.

Causes of headache

The common causes of headaches are allergy, emotional stress, eye strain, high blood pressure, a hangover, infection, low blood sugar, nutritional deficiency, tension, and the presence of poisons and toxins in the body. Allergies are often the unsuspected cause of headaches. The foods to which some people are allergic and which can trigger headaches are milk and milk products, chocolate, chicken, liver, alcohol and strong cheese. Sneezing and diarrhoea are further indications of an allergy.

Headache cures and remedies

There are several natural remedies for various types or headaches. The juice of three or four slices of lemon should be squeezed in a cup of tea and taken by the patient for treating this condition. It gives immediate relief. The crust of lemon, which is generally thrown away, has been found useful in headaches caused by heat. Lemon crusts should be pounded into a fine paste in a mortar and applied as plaster on the forehead. Applying the yellow, freshly pared-off rind of a lemon to each temple will also give relief.
Cure Headaches naturally using Apple

For alternative therapies to headache visit

Apples are valuable in curing all types of headaches. After removing the upper rind and the inner hard portion of a ripe apple, it should be taken with a little salt every morning on an empty stomach in such cases. This should be continued for about a week.

Natural Headache remedy using Henna

The flowers of henna have been found valuable in curing headaches caused by hot sun. The flowers should be rubbed in vinegar and applied over the forehead. This remedy will soon provide relief.

Headache remedy using Cinnamon

Cinnamon is useful in headaches caused by exposure to cold air. A fine paste of this spice should be prepared by mixing it with water and it should be applied over the temples and forehead to obtain relief.

Headache treatment using Marjoram

The herb marjoram is beneficial in the treatment of a nervous headache. An infusion of the leaves is taken as a tea in the treatment of this disorder.

Headache treatment using Rosemary

The herb rosemary has been found valuable in headaches resulting from cold. A handful of this herb should be boiled in a litre of water and put in a mug. The head should be covered with a towel and the steam inhaled for as long as the patient can bear. This should be repeated till the headache is relieved.

Diet for headaches

The best way to prevent headaches is to build up physical resistance through proper nutrition, physical exercise and positive thinking. As a first step, the patient should undertake a short fast, and take citrus fruit juices diluted with water every two hours from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. daily. Thereafter, he should plan his diet in such a way as to put the least possible strain on the digestion. Breakfast may consist of fruits, both fresh and dried. Lunch may consist of protein foods. Starchy foods such as wholewheat bread, cereals, rice, or potatoes should be taken at dinner along with raw salads. Spices, condiments, sour buttermilk, and oily foodstuffs should be avoided. Drinking a glass of water (warm water in winter and cool water in summer), mixed with a teaspoon of honey first thing in the morning, is also a good remedy. Copious drinking of water throughout the day is also advised.

Other headache remedies

Water treatment

Other helpful measures in the treatment of headaches are a cleansing enema with water temperature at 37 degree C, a cold throat pack, frequent applications of towels wrung out from very hot water to the back of the neck , a cold compress at 4.4 degree C to 15.6 degree C applied to the head and face, or an alternate spinal compress. Hot fomentations over the abdominal region just before retiring relieve headaches caused by stomach and liver upsets.

Hot foot bath

Hot foot baths are also beneficial in the treatment of chronic headaches. The patient should keep his legs in a tub or bucket filled with hot water at a temperature of 40 degree C to 45 degree C for fifteen minutes every night before retiring. This treatment should be continued for two or three weeks.

Yogasanas

Yogic kriyas like jalneti and kunjal; pranayamas like anulomaviloma, shitali and sitkari; and asanas such as uttanpadasana, sarvangasana, paschimottanasana, halasana, and shavasana are also beneficial in the treatment of headaches.

Dr Robert Beck Energetic-Medicine researcher--1925-2002

Dr Robert Beck was a physicist, who has to his name a PhD in physics from the University of Southern California. Prior to USC Dr. Beck was a Professor at the University of California. Dr. Beck is known as a renowned researcher and inventor in the field of Energy Medicine devices. Amongst his achievements he is accredited with a version of the Brain Tuner. This device has been successful in helping to alleviate anxiety, addictions, insomnia and depression. As he initially trained as a photojournalist he applied his inventive flair and curiosity toward flash photography. He was the inventor of the strobe flashlight.

He has been nominated by a Mexican hospital for the Noble Prize for his research in developing an Aids cure.

Bob Beck formed his first company specialising in the development of a powerful electroencephalogra ph unit. Through his company he conducted extensive research on the electrical properties of the brain. From this research was born a powerful electroencephalogra ph unit. After reading articles on a 'black box' device, developed by a British surgeon, Dr. Margaret Patterson, he became increasingly interested in the potential of electricity and the brain. Dr Patterson had developed this 'black box' with Dr Wong of Hong Kong an expert in electro-acupuncture . Though its inventors to help reduce symptoms of recovering drug addicts used this black box, Beck saw other potential for this device.

Bob Beck used research and technology from the black box to develop his own device. He called it the Brain Tuner. Based around the principal of frequencies it used over 200 specific frequencies to encourage the rejuvenation, healing, and rapid re-stimulation of the neuro-transmitters.

Bob Beck's research then led on to look at the effect of electrical frequency on the lymphatic system. Working on the basis that many viral infections ay shelter in the lymph nodes, he developed a magnetic pulse generator to induce electricity in specific nodes around the body. Beck's work in this field led him to do much work with HIV and AIDS patients. His studies also highlighted ionic/colloidal silver as a natural antibiotic, providing a potential alternative to the somewhat clumsy approach of pharmaceutical antibiotics. He went on to elaborate his research by creating devices able to make colloidal/ionic silver at home.

Bob Beck went on to lecture and give demonstrations at health trade shows around North America. It was at one such show in Seattle, in 1996 that a couple (Russ Torlage and Lesley Punt) came across Beck's device. Lesley Punt was suffering from M.E. of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the couple were at the Seattle show looking for possible ways to alleviate her condition. They took Beck's device and redesigned it, making it an accessible tool for public use.

In pursuit of improving the affectivity of Beck's device Dr. Beck introduced a protocol. Along with the both blood electrification the protocol also includes the making of ionic/colloidal silver, and the ozonation of drinking water, thus increasing the level of oxygen in the blood.

What is The Beck Protocol?

There are four parts to The Beck Protocol.

1. Microcurrent therapy for cleansing the blood
Over the years, while enjoying the fruits of a successful career as an acclaimed physicist, Robert (Bob) C. Beck, D.Sc. maintained an interest in electro-therapy for health. When he heard that viruses and other pathogens had been deactivated in a medical research study by the application of microcurrents of electricity to blood, his considerable intellect and ingenuity were aroused. While the medical research suggested the application of microcurrents similar to dialysis with the blood flowing out and then back into the body, Bob Beck developed a system to apply microcurrents to blood without invading the body. He developed a simple system for applying these microcurrents by placing electrodes over the wrist arteries.

2. Magnetic pulsing for tissue electrification
After considerable experimentation on himself, friends, acquaintances and a few individuals diagnosed with AIDS, all reaped some health benefit. Soon, however, he realized that the blood might be cleared of viruses or other pathogens but these same pathogens could be temporarily hiding in the lymph system. To create the necessary microcurrents in lymph and tissue to neutralize viruses and other pathogens, he developed a magnetic pulse generator. Pulsed magnetic fields create microcurrents in lymph and other tissue.

3. Drinking ionic/colloidal silver
Bob explains how he awoke at 4:00 a.m. one morning with a sudden insight. He knew colloidal silver had been used extensively prior to the advent of antibiotics. He awoke with an insight on how to make colloidal silver electrically— easily and inexpensively. Thus was born an industry for the manufacture of home units to make colloidal silver. Ionic/colloidal silver is made using 99.99% pure silver wires, distilled water and an electrical circuit.

4. Drinking freshly ozonated water
By this time, Bob Beck was on the lecture circuit at health shows to make his discoveries known. At his lectures, he also provided papers with information about his work and the schematics to build units. These lectures gave Bob an opportunity to talk with many people who had either bought or built his units and were using them to improve their health. One problem kept recurring. Many experienced flu-like symptoms as a result of the die-off of the pathogens. The body was not able to expel the toxins fast enough. Bob always stated the importance of drinking enough water to help flush toxins but one day he realized adding ozone to the water would speed the detoxification process.

Ozone is a great detoxifier but ozone was generally only available using expensive medical devices. Bob visited a fish supply store as he knew they used ozone to keep the fish tanks oxygenated. Eureka! Bob and his friends started freshly ozonating a glass of water before drinking it. Bob used a pulse oxymeter on the finger to measure blood oxygen saturation and discovered, water saturated with ozone would increase the level of oxygen in the blood. Thus the fourth part of The Beck Protocol was added—drinking freshly ozonated water to help flush toxins.

A big advantage of The Beck Protocol is that it can be used in the privacy of your home. The effectiveness of The Beck Protocol has spread worldwide—largely by word-of-mouth. People around the world have found the tools offered by The Beck Protocol have helped them heal and recover from minor ailments to debilitating diseases. SOTA Instruments Inc. collects testimonials from customers who use the units. We have published some of these testimonials in The Beck Protocol Handbook.

Bob Beck gained confidence in SOTA Instruments as a company that offered a high standard of quality. He endorsed SOTA as a supplier of units for The Beck Protocol. For blood electrification and making ionic/colloidal silver, SOTA offers The Silver Pulser. For lymph and tissue electrification, The Magnetic Pulser. For freshly ozonating drinking water, The Water O3zonator. For making ionic/colloidal silver only, The Silver Maker. See our Recommended Products section.

See Electrifying Books & Videos section for a video How to Use The Beck Protocol. This video features Dr. Eliezer Ben-Joseph, ND as host. With three guests asking questions, he provides all you need to know to use the protocol at home for personal health. The Beck Protocol Handbook package includes Beck's original papers, testimonials and Bob's 1983 talk on The Brain Tuner. The booklet Electricity for Health in the 21st Century is included with the package. This booklet
provides amazing insights into the electrical nature of the body and the history of electro-therapy.

A new video, An Introduction to The Beck Protocol is available from 2003. It will offer health practitioners who have experience with the protocol, individuals who have had profound healing experiences with the help of The Beck Protocol and an interview with Robert C. Beck. The video includes lively interviews exposing the politics of health as well.  See our Researchers to Know section for details about Bob Beck's electronic instrumentation, brain research and more on the birth of The Beck Protocol.

EXACT MEANS AND METHODS FOR ELIMINATING INFECTIOUS DISEASES and CANCER
Copyright 1998 Robert C. Beck, D.Sc. January 14, 1998
(The complete process is described here in detail to allow anyone to successfully achieve recoveries and insure that the currently proven methods will never again be "lost" or suppressed.)

WHAT YOU DO:

1. Apply salt-water moistened electrodes over Ulnar and Radial arteries on opposite insides of same wrist. A Velcro(R) and elastic strap holds electrodes in place. You must electrify blood for one to  two hours every day for three weeks. This should not interfere with other activities. As your blood circulates normally, enough will be flowing along this path in forearm until most blood in your body is eventually treated by the 50 to 100 microampere current flowing internally. About 3 to 5 milliamperes is necessary at the skin to overcome resistive losses through tissue before current reaches blood.

2. Drink 8 to 16 OZ of 3 to 5 ppm self-made Silver Colloid daily. Costing under 1 cent per gallon, colloids are shown to easily control opportunistic infections. This gives you a second intact immune system. Colloids can be generated in the same water while ozonizing.

3. Apply your magnetic pulse generator for about 20 minutes daily by positioning and pulsing coil over lymph nodes and internal organs. Pulse each time it recharges at several second intervals. Pulses of high intensity time-varying magnetic flux generate a measurable back e.m.f. in adjacent tissue thus neutralizing any residual germinating and incubating pathogens. Without this step, sufferers have been known to sometimes reinfect themselves. Conventional permanent magnets positively will not work.

4. Drink as much ozonated water as you can comfortably ingest daily. You must generate fresh ozone yourself each time and drink immediately since ozone has a half-life of only a few minutes. All known pathogens and cancers are anaerobic. Ozone aids their elimination by oxidation and speeds your detoxification and recovery with no discomfort. Consuming ozone water flushes neutralized pathogens, wastes and toxins from your system.

THESE FOUR STEPS WORK SYNERGISTICALLY AND ALMOST MAGICALLY AND SHOULD BE USED TOGETHER. AVERAGE TIME FOR RECOVERY IS UNDER A MONTH.

EXACT
HOW AND WHY YOU must DO THIS:

1. The blood electrifier and silver colloid maker are usually combined in one small plastic box, typically 3-3/4" X 2-1/4" X 1" (cigarette pack size) containing one outlet for wrist electrodes and a second outlet for colloid making. A single 9 volt transistor radio battery drives a voltage tripler, and a single-IC-chip switches the 27 volts from negative to positive 3.92 times each second. A biphasic square wave with sharp rise time output is fed to a 3.5 mm jack connecting to two 3/32" stainless steel electrodes 1" long each covered with two layers of 100% cotton flannel saturated with dilute salt water. A potentiometer allows users to adjust output until comfortable. Red and
green LED's show polarity reversal (essential for safe blood electrification) and overall system functioning. A grain-of-wheat lamp indicates current flow when making ionic colloid. Precise electrode locations are determined by carefully feeling arterial pulse points on opposite insides of same wrist and positioning saturated electrodes precisely along the paths where arteries come closest to surface. Locations are critical, since objective is to supply maximal current into blood and not waste it in surrounding flesh. Typical impedance measured from electrode-to- electrode may be as low as 2000 ohms. Adjust output for strongest comfortable level. Schematics, parts lists and detailed instructions appear in [elsewhere in these lecture notes]. Anyone can build his own system: you need buy nothing except replacement batteries. However commercially available systems are inexpensive, reliable, and are usable immediately.

2. Ionic Silver Colloids of excellent quality and freshness are easily user-made as follows - Pure silver (99.9%) 14 gauge electrodes, providing anode and cathode about 6" long, are immersed in an 8 OZ glass of room-temperature water (tap or distilled) and the 27 volt DC output is applied for about 3 minutes in tap water and 20 minutes in distilled water or until water appears milky. Stir and drink immediately two or three times daily. I ozonate the water while making colloid and drink the combination immediately. Some prefer "golden" colloids, easily made by using only heated (150 degrees F) distilled water in Pyrex containers with electrodes activated for ~20 minutes. Store silver colloid in dark brown bottles. Keep out of light and do not refrigerate.

1. MAGNETIC PULSER: This extremely useful tool neutralizes active, hibernating or incubating pathogens being normally processed in lymph, spleen, liver, skin, kidney, stomach muscles and other tissue. It is easily made by purchasing or winding a ~2.5 millihenry coil and driving it with a 35 to 70 Watt-Second (Joules) electronic flash or "strobe". (A Joule is (1/2 CV^2) where C is in microfarads and V is in Kilovolts.) A self-wound inductance coil of ~130 turns of 14 or 16 gauge, plain enameled magnet wire works well. A 2.5 mH audio speaker cross-over coil is prettier. The coil is simply wired between one electrode of the strobe flash lamp and its capacitor. The device, if self-made, costs about $27 and is vasty more powerful than $5000 to $7O00 commercial devices of far less measurable power. The coil kicks a steel washer several feet into the air when pulsed thus showing the "occult" (invisible) energy going into your body during use. A typical finished device (Future Tech Today, USA 1-(866)-747- 7447) tests 600 mfd, 330-350V, 36 WS, 21,429 Gauss, 105 Amperes peak, 17,850 Ampere Turns pulse rise time ~1.8 microseconds, pulse duration ~2.6 milliseconds, penetration ~8" in tissue. It and its AC power supply fit in a box 1-1/2" X 2-5/8" X 4-1/2" with an external applicator coil 2-3/4" diameter X 1-3/8" thick on a 4' cord. (These details are offered for professionals only.)

2. OZONIZED DRINKING WATER: Before adding this final step to the "magic four", we had some very uncomfortable full-blown AIDS patients while they were detoxifying. All are now completely well and symptom free. By simply drinking ozone-charged water, most of the benefits of ozone use such as insufflation (ozone enemas), autohemotherapy, ozone injections and blood bubbling, Oxygen Bars and Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers were easily surpassed and made simple and inexpensive. Tanks of "medical oxygen" (identical to welding oxygen) require medical
prescriptions. Ozonized water is made from oxygen in ambient air and costs nothing. MAKING YOUR OWN: You can purchase ozone generators legally in tropical fish (aquarium) stores. Preferred is the 200 ML Sander (brand) ozonizer used with an aquarium aerator pump. Air pumped through a bubble-making "stone" is passed through chilled water. Depending on the strength ozone maker you buy, water becomes "saturated" in a few minutes and must be drunk immediately. You can see an increase in % blood oxygen saturation which often reaches 100% within minutes. Do NO T use ultra-violet (cheapest but almost useless) generators. Use ONLY cold-corona high voltage ozonizers. Constructionand use is fully explained in my main paper.
